Average Joe Sports Club organizes co-ed recreational sports leagues and corporate events for the Brampton, Burlington/Oakville, Etobicoke, Hamilton, Milton (USC), Mississauga, Ontario regions. To view league specific information, please use the drop-down menu along the right-hand side of the front page under "Sports Leagues". This will detail each sport and region. For further information such as dates, locations, league notes and pricing please click on the league's skill level/night after clicking on your preferred region.

COVID-19 NOTE: With our leagues open for registration, we are hopeful that we will be back running in the early spring. Of course, this is entirely dependent on the health restrictions allowing game-play. In order to run a league under the current Ontario colour-coded system, the region where the league is taking place must be in Orange. We have opened up registration with the expectation that we will be allowed to play. Please note the following:

Special Notes Due to the Pandemic:

The exact start and end dates may have to be changed based on the timing of restrictions being lifted
If required, we will delay the start of a season by up to 4 weeks (If it is longer than that, we would contact teams to make sure they still want to play in the delayed season)
Some aspects before, after or during the game may have to be augmented to comply with provincial restrictions
If, for whatever reason, the season does not happen at all, all registrations will be refunded in full
The season may be paused if health restrictions change and then started up again when the health restrictions are changed back
If the season cannot be finished due to restrictions changing after starting the season, and the season has not reached the halfway point, all registrations will be given a prorated refund minus an admin fee of $25 per registration

All players will have to be on the roster before playing (which is always the rule but it will be strictly enforced for the purpose of contact tracing)

Team of the Month - Great Balls of Fire

Our latest Team of the Month honour goes to Milton Wednesday Coed Volleyball Ladder veterans - 'Great Balls of Fire' - captained by Chris Laughren. On the history of his squad, Chris says "We've been playing in this league for over 8 years now. Our team has gone through a significant number of roster changes over that time, with only a few being a part of the original team, but we love the competition and the ladder structure. Recently, we've picked up a few key free agents who've helped us move up a rung on the ladder. Despite the tougher competition, we try not to take ourselves too seriously, with hopes to earn our beers/nachos at Rad Brother's (Milton bar) afterwards." Thanks to Great Balls of Fire for their great sportsmanship and commitment. We look forward to many more seasons with your squad.
